The design master planning strategy included a large increase in the centre's overall size with an increase of retail area from 23,000sqm up to 45,000sqm including a new DDS and supermarket. This entailed extensive and extremely complex planning and negotiation with council at all stages of the approval process. Saunders Global's redevelopment plan has successfully secured one of Australia’s largest retail groups to the centre.
