Saunders Global were commissioned to develop a world class sales environment to present the Olympics as a retail experience. The Sydney Olympic Store was an important first, being 'The creation of a true Olympic Retail Experience that will set the standard for all future organising committees to aspire to'. Design services for the development of the Olympic Store included a unique interior design concept that captured the atmosphere and experience of the Olympic games, way finding, logo and identity design, branding guidelines, environmental graphic design, development of the Olympic pictograms and promotional material including brochures. The Olympic retail store was a huge success for SOCOG. Saunders Global were the official supplier of retail design services for the Sydney olympic Games.
